The ‘Biosample Collection’ type of milestone, like a blood sample for example, indicates a milestone that can be completed at your next regular visit to your doctor’s office. You cannot complete this milestone virtually through our application. Once you provide the Biosample at the site, the Research Coordinator will mark this milestone as complete for you. It may take a couple of days for the system to reflect that the milestone has been completed, as the Research Coordinator may need to put it in the system later. Once it is marked complete by the Research Coordinator, you will receive an email stating ‘Milestone Completed’.

Once the Biosample has been marked as complete by the Research Coordinator, you will see that the Milestone count has been updated as seen below to reflect the correct number of Milestones Complete. At this time you can navigate to the ‘Payment Summary’ page if you would like to be compensated for that milestone.
